Vertical Fin Extrusions

A facade system made of equally spaced, vertical extrusions that combine a panel and a fin. The vertical profiles create a strong vertical directionality and provide passive shading for the recessed glass apertures. The facade has a low window-to-wall-ratio (<40%).

Setup instructions:

Download the .GH Framework script.
Open Rhino, launch Grasshopper, and open the script.
Assign the name GH_Facet Facade to the surface or polysurface you want to apply the facade to. (Under Properties: Object > Name)
