Randomized Vertical Fins

A screen system defined by regularly spaced vertical fins. Using a randomized logic, each vertical is split into the fins of varying height, color and depth, creating a textured appearance. The fins provide effective passive shading against low-angle sun.

Setup instructions:

Download the .GH Framework script.
Open Rhino, launch Grasshopper, and open the script.
Assign the name GH_Facet Facade to the surface or polysurface you want to apply the facade to. (Under Properties: Object > Name)
