Grid with Angled Panel

A single-skin facade system defined by an orthogonal grid of uniform frames. One side of the frame is tilted, adding depth and allowing for building-integrated-photovoltaics (BIPV). The deep frames offer effective passive shading for the narrow glazed elements. The wide panels lead to a low window-to-wall-ratio (<40%).

Setup instructions:

Download the .GH Framework script.
Open Rhino, launch Grasshopper, and open the script.
Assign the name GH_Facet Facade to the surface or polysurface you want to apply the facade to. (Under Properties: Object > Name)
