The difference is how the license is tied to machines and how many people can use Facet at the same time:
- Solo (node-locked): Locked to one machine. Facet runs only on the specific computer registered to your account.
- Team & Studio (floating): Works like a Rhino Zoo network license. Everyone in the office can download the scripts onto any machine or your shared drive, and the cloud manages access based on how many seats you’ve bought. A seat is used only while someone has a Facet script open — close it, and the seat frees up for a colleague. Buy two seats and two people can work at once; buy five and five can. If every seat is in use, the next person waits until someone closes their session. Add or remove seats anytime.
