Facet uses your Rhino surface normals to determine which way the facade faces. The facade will always offset in the direction the surface normals are pointing.
If your facade is facing the wrong way (inside out), you can quickly check and flip it in Rhino using these steps:
- Show the direction: Select your target surface and type
Dirinto the Rhino command bar. - Read the arrows: Visual arrows will appear on the surface showing its current normal direction.
- Flip the facade: Click the surface in the viewport to flip the arrows. This instantly changes Facet’s offset direction. Press Enter to confirm.
